I have been working in international development for over 30 years, having lived and worked in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Kenya, Paraguay and Zimbabwe. I have been working with Catholic Relief Services the past 18 years.
My experience in Paraguay is deep and varied.
I served as a youth development PCV in Caacupé from 1995-1997.
I was in one of the first ever Peace Corps Response groups, assisting the damnifiados affected by the floods of the Rio Paraguay in 1998, where I worked in Barrio Tablada, Asunción.
I was a technical trainer for urban youth development in Guarambaré in 2006
I live in Areguá with my wife, our dog Fanny and our 12 cats (all rescues) since 2021.
I have served on various non profit and community boards over the years, with varying levels of responsibility. here is my most relevant prior volunteer experience:

- President, Pittsburgh Area Peace Corps Association 2000- 2001, Pittsburgh, PA.
After finally settling in with our move back to Paraguay, I am eager to get more involved in different local causes and I am eager to join the FoP and support in any capacity needed.
