Alli is a Farm to School Specialist with the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), where she helps grantees and State Agencies with their farm to school projects and strategic planning. As a PCV, she served as an environmental education volunteer in Yatytay, Itapua with her husband Dylan, and extended service to help with the Chaco reopening efforts until the COVID-19 evacuation in March 2020.
Alli graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011 and then served for two years in AmeriCorps National Civilian Corps (NCCC), which ignited a passion for both national service and environmental stewardship. She went on to work as a Youth Manager for a small nonprofit in Denver (Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado), while getting her Masters of Environmental Management.
In her free time, Alli likes to garden, paint, hike and obsessively do all the puzzles on the NYT app (Spelling Bee is her favorite). She lives in Denver, CO with her husband, new-ish baby son Albie, and mischief-making Paraguayan kitty, Michimi.
